Lambert Industries 1971

 

Lambert Industries Ltd. is a gemstone and jewelry wholesaler, retailer and manufacturer founded in 1971. The company offers all kinds of gemstones and jewelry as its main products as well as gem cutting and custom jewelry services. In addition, Lambert Industries Ltd. sells jewelry catalogs, identifies and appraises gemstones, does jewelry repairs, and gives free community lectures.

Lambert has offices and a showroom, but it's not a store in the usual sense. It is located on the 4th floor of an office building and does not have a storefront location. The company sells mainly to gem and jewelry wholesalers, jewelry manufacturers and to retail stores, but will not turn away individual buyers. The premises (4th floor, Silom Shanghai Building, Silom Soi 17) are open to the public but the walk in trade is not targeted. Most of Lambert's customers have never visited the office, doing business by mail.

The head office location provides wonderful daylight. At the producers level of jewelry business one can only look at stones in natural light. 'When we are out of daylight, we are out of business." The gemstones and jewelry are openly displayed for the convenience of those customers that do walk in.
