Orders
To make an order, please contact us by email customerservice@lambertgems.com , by fax , by airmail or by our contact us page and let us know the details of what you would like to order. We respond promptly to all orders.


Delivery:
We send goods to you by registered airmail, so normally, the postman brings the goods, you sign for them and you have them without further formalities.

Usually it takes about one week for an airmail registered item to get from Bangkok to the USA. Other international deliveries are slightly longer on average.

We do not send goods on credit, but we will send them on approval, if you
establish credit with us.
This means that you may keep the goods for one week to decide whether to pay for them or return them. We do not send goods on memo or on consignment because we are not a financing institution and are not able to finance anyone else's operation.

(If you need credit, the Thai government subsidizes a financing program that gives you six months to pay with interest at the rate of only 7% per year. That program is based on your opening an irrevocable letter of credit in our favor in any bank in Thailand, although we prefer the Bangkok Bank P.C.L., 333 Silom Road, Bangkok 10500, Thailand. You can get information about opening a letter of credit from the bank where you normally do business.)

Prices:
All prices are quoted in US dollars.
For the gemstones and gemcutting, some prices are based on a per-carat basis and some on a per-piece basis. Be sure to read the price lists carefully.

For the gemstones there are lot prices and select prices. The lot price being the usual price quoted and is based on the assumption that you purchase the entire lot of stones or, take a random cut. Select prices are based on selected stones from within a lot. We do not have bargaining prices.

We have confidence in our prices that is why we have our return policy. An unlimited return policy so you can get back everything you paid for our stone. (If the stone is returned in its original condition; and, if it is part of a lot, the entire lot must be returned.)

Payment:
Payment may be made with your personal cheque or company cheque, if that is the most convenient way for you to pay. We also accept international money orders, cash, electronic transfers. We do request that all payment be made in US dollars. Payment is due within one week of receiving the goods.

Our head office does accept major credit cards (we prefer cash, or cheques), however due to Thai laws we cannot accept credit cards unless the principal is present in our office.

Return Policy: 
NO TIME LIMIT!
It is our policy to take back anything that we sell for a full refund at any time, assuming that the material is in the same condition as when it was sold.

If the item sold consists of a group of stones in one lot, the entire lot would be returned to us. The exception to our return policy is diamonds over 10 points per piece in size, because the price of diamonds is maintained at an artificially high level and is always in danger of falling drastically to more realistic levels.

Why do we have such a generous return policy?
Because we want you to be comfortable with your purchases, if you change your mind in 5 minutes or in five years, we feel you are entitiled to a full cash refund without time limit.

Returning Goods:
You are responsible for the goods until they are received in our office (U.S. or Bangkok office). For U.S. residents, if you send the goods to our Bangkok office, it is difficult to obtain sufficient insurance for international mail. We recommend that you send the goods,to our California Station, (you may purchase ample insurance for domestic mail). Our blanket insurance policy will cover the mailing from our station to Bangkok. When returning goods, please send them by insured airmail.
