The price of stones:
We sell excellent quality emeralds of the 3 point size for $100 per carat for a total of $25 for the stones.

We sell good commercial grade round brillant cut diamonds in sizes from about 10 points per piece down, for $300 a carat. Say we select 16 RBC diamonds of 0.25 carats total ($75).

The price of gold and labour:
18K gold and labour for a typical ladies finger ring would be $100 to $150 depending partly on the finger size and on the style.
(Typically the price of gold and will depend upon the karat gold, the amount of gold used and the complexity of the design)
